Château Neercanne: podium of surprise
The atmospheric restaurant Château Neercanne is situated in the only terrace castle in the Benelux. The castle dates from 1689 and is known for its beautiful baroque garden with protected UNESCO status. You will enjoy a beautiful view of the gardens and the Jeker Valley and, above all, gastronomic craftsmanship and Limburg hospitality.
Impressive quality
The kitchen, led by chef de cuisine Robert Levels, is French oriented and uses products from its own vegetable garden and the region as much as possible. The culinary creations are of course accompanied by appropriate wines for an impressive gastronomic experience
Wine cellars in the marl cave
The surprises of Neercanne don’t stop at the castle! The wine cellars of the restaurant also provide an atmospheric ambiance. Situated in the old corridors of the marl cave, lit by candles, the wines are stored at ideal temperature. On the walls of the cave you can read about the history of the castle and of Europe. Texts by well-known wine connoisseurs, signatures of the Royal House and of the signatories of the Maastricht Treaty! Groups thus have every reason to visit the wine cellars and enjoy a wine tasting in situ, or an aperitif before dinner.
l’Auberge de Neercanne is open daily from noon to 6 p.m.
