Erik Pinckaers – butchery & catering service



In the characteristic centre of Eijsden, just outside Maastricht, you will find the traditional quality butchery of Erik Pinckaers in the Kerkstraat. It is known as the ‘tastiest shop in the valley of the Maas’, so expect lots of deliciousness. You will be spoiled with a very extensive and varied assortment; traditionally made sausages, fifteen types of pâtés, various regional products, salads, vegetables and a range of meals. Pinckaers is the base of several generations practicing the butcher’s trade in the traditional way; honest, pure, traditional and with passion, for more than a hundred years.
In 2016 Erik Pinckaers has received the title of Supplier to the Court of Holland, handed over by Mr. Bovens, the Governor of Limburg. Erik: ‘We buy our beef, veal and lamb from farmers in the Mergelland, close to our home. We then process it in our own company into perfect quality products. The pork, exclusively based on the ‘Krull concept’ and bearing the ‘Beter Leven’ quality mark, is supplied by pig farmer Rob Hilkens from Herkenbosch. All lines are short and we know exactly where our meat comes from.’
